Project Summary

This is a 490,000 SF Federal Government Agency. The project was originally conceived with terracotta panels being set into precast and was over budget. The weight with the precast backup was very heavy and very expensive. The Project Team value-engineered the cladding using NeaCera® as a conventional rainscreen design with a metal stud backup. This saved the Owner significant dollars. We provided upfront design/assist services to the team and helped with the subcontractor bidding to assure efficient prices by all participants.
