Project Summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison built a new state-of-the-art Meat Science and Muscle Laboratory to replace the inadequate facilities of the previous 80-year-old Seed Building. The new 2-story, 67,540-square-foot building will contain research laboratories, classrooms, teaching laboratories, and specialized meat & animal processing areas. This $45.7-million investment by public and private funds to the campus will be completed in spring of 2018.
