Project Summary

The MAPS 3 Convention Center is a brand new, 4-story urban convention center which will replace the aging Cox Center, constructed in 1969. With a construction budget of $194,000-million, and total budget of $288-million, this is the largest total budget in city history for a single project. This sleek, state-of-the-art, 500,000-square-foot center was designed for energy efficiency & resiliency with a modern aesthetic. The building will contain 275,000-square-feet of leasable space for an exhibit hall, meeting space, and ballroom, slated to open 2020. The Convention Center is part of a greater $575,000-million project on the 40-acre site, which includes a hotel and parking garage accessible from the center by skywalk. The MAPS 3 Center is proud to be a part of a greater $5-billion investment in quality of life improvements in Oklahoma City over the past 2-decades.
