Project Summary

The new Arts & Humanities and Social Science Building at the Southern University at New Orleans Park Campus broke ground in 2017 and opened to students in 2019. This 3-story, 72,000-square-foot building was a part of the redesign and rebuild of the campus post Hurricane Katrina. This $21.2-million project includes an office & lab wing, museum & exhibit space, and a 1,000-seat, 5-story auditorium.
